Door Seal Integrity
A custom panel front adds real weight to the door, and over years of use that can very gradually affect how evenly the gasket seals. A seal that’s lost full contact on one edge lets in just enough warm air to show up as a slow drift rather than a sudden failure.
When It’s Actually the Sensor or Sealed System
If clearance and seals check out, the next step is testing the temperature sensor and, if needed, the sealed refrigeration system itself — the latter requires an EPA-certified technician regardless of brand.
