What F1 Means
F1 is a general oven-sensor fault — the control board isn't getting a valid reading from the temperature sensor (RTD) in the cavity.
Common Causes of F1
- Sensor has failed
- Sensor wiring harness connection has failed
- Control board input circuit has failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
There's no safe DIY check — the sensor is mounted inside the cavity and testing its resistance means accessing it with the unit de-energized.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Confirming which of the three failed means testing sensor resistance directly, which risks further wiring damage without the right approach.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
