What TC Means
TC is a general temperature sensor fault distinct from the zone-specific HI/LO alerts — it flags that a sensor reading itself is unreliable, not that the temperature is confirmed out of range.
Common Causes of TC
- Sensor has failed or its reading has drifted out of the valid range
- Sensor wiring connection has failed

A full power-cycle at the breaker is worth trying first, since sensor-read faults sometimes clear on reset.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If a power-cycle doesn't clear it, sensor testing needs the cabinet opened.
