What F2 Means
F2 is a cavity over-temperature fault — the interior has reached a temperature the control board treats as unsafe, and it has shut the unit down.
Common Causes of F2
- Ventilation vents blocked, trapping heat
- Cooling fan has failed
- Temperature sensor has failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Let the unit cool completely and check that the vents (usually along the top or back) aren't blocked, since restricted ventilation is a common cause.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If F2 recurs with clear ventilation, the fan or sensor needs technician diagnosis.
