Common Causes of C2
- Kinked or clogged drain hose
- Clogged air gap (if installed)
- Failing drain pump
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the drain hose behind the unit for kinks, and if there's an air gap fitting at the sink, confirm it isn't clogged.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the hose and air gap are clear, the drain pump itself needs testing, which means partial disassembly.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
