What C6 Means

Common Causes of C6
- Heating element control circuit has failed, keeping the element on longer than commanded
- Temperature sensor has failed, giving a false low reading that causes the board to over-heat the water

- Diagnosing whether it's the element control or the sensor giving a false reading means testing both with the unit open and partly powered.
