What F76 Means
F76 is a control communication fault — typically between the user interface board and the main relay/oven control board, or between the oven and range control modules on a range unit.
Common Causes of F76
- Wiring harness connector between control boards has loosened or corroded
- One of the two boards has failed

A full power-cycle at the breaker is worth trying, since inter-board communication faults sometimes clear after a complete reset.

- Isolating which board actually failed means testing each independently, which is technician work.
